Hello everyone! Dylan here with a quick blog update from our latest convention, Rhode Island Comic Con! As of typing this, Lane and I just wrapped up a long but very rewarding day two and are eagerly awaiting tomorrow morning to begin the third and final day of the convention. We hope that anyone who checked us out over the last two days enjoys the issues they purchased. On behalf of the rest of the Starside team, we welcome you to the growing community!
Little fun fact: Rhode Island Comic Con 2018 was Starside's debut convention as well as the first con for everyone on the team. For our first con, we couldn't have felt more welcome. This year, it's the same feeling but doubled! It has been so cool to see familiar faces return to check out the new things we have in store as well as chat it up about the future of Starside. As a New Yorker, I thought that a convention in or around New York City would be my favorite convention to exhibit at being on my home turf and all, but both years at RICC have really been enjoyable and being here feels like home!
Before I wrap up this blog, I just want to shamelessly plug that as of this update, new stuff that we brought for RICC is now for sale on the store page! That includes variant covers for issue 1 & 2 (update: Issue 1 variant temporarily sold out but will be restocked), a button set, a 5x7 art print set (each of the three also sold separately), as well as a bookmark.
